With thanks to you, ENGAGENT has arrived at a place where it is a viable business. You are part of an amazing group of collaborative partners. So many of you have stood beside me, and put my talents to use, and I so appreciate you for that. Fueled by shared energy, I have rented my first office space. I couldn’t love working in this space any more than I do. It is furnished with beloved things. It is simple and inspiring. I have clients and contracts. And, I have visionaries who have placed me on reserve until their season kicks off. It’s all really good. And suddenly, in the midst of of this, I have received an offer from a prospect to come on board as an employee, full-time. Yep. 40 hours a week. Working for somebody else. Something I have recently said “I could not imagine”. However... beyond what I am able to imagine, in a place where reality defines what I should do, I cannot turn this opportunity down. It is in the industry I so love; Architecture. It is with a great company, with really great people. Close to home. And it comes with a steady paycheck, benefits, and incredible learning opportunities. It offers me the security I crave, and need to provide for my family. My personal life as you know is met with challenges. My family reigns over all else. I will always do what is best for them, for “us”. So with that, I am telling you all of this because it will change our professional relationship. I hope I have not mislead you. My intentions have always been to grow together in business with you... I plan to continue with ENGAGENT through mid-January. It will be my personal and professional commitment to complete any obligations we have between us. In the year ahead, I will take on freelance projects as I am able. T H A N K Y O U . |
